These awesome old bicycles go by many names. I call them penny farthings. Let me assure you, as an adult, they are tricky to learn how to ride!
This fine looking gentleman, with an obviously great biker physique, is proud of his cycle. I remastered this piece of art from an 1800's era cabinet card. It should print and display well in large to small format. This piece is perfect for the study, the gym, or any other place you would like to be reminded of the joy of cycling. It would also make a great, unique gift for that cycle fanatic in your life.
For this image, I suggest a matte or muted finish to match the period look. It would look great as a canvas or a framed art on water color paper.
