Description
Group of German armorers working on Mauser rifles circa WWI. The back was postmarked Lauenburg, Germany.
There is a gun vise on both sides of a well built work bench. The men/boys are wearing shop aprons and field caps. At least three bayonets are clearly visible. There appears to be a good deal of comradery, and it is hard to tell how much work is actually getting done.
This would be an awesome piece for a reloading room, gun room, gunsmith shop, or man cave/study. It would also make a great gift for that WWI or firearms history buff in your life.
