This is my take on a double penny bicycle. (my own made up terminology - Keep reading, you will understand if you don't already.)
I sketched out this No2 Pencil freehand drawing while I was riding shotgun in a work utility van. My dad and I were on our way to a quilting machine factory in Iowa. My mind is always spinning round with strange ideas and design concepts. This bike was a concept that has been rolling around for a while, and I finally had a chance to put the general idea down on paper.
The design is loosely based on the idea of using 60" penny farthing wheels for both the front and the back. This concept has little to do with practical purpose or mechanical advantage, and a lot more to do with "Because I can".
Hope you enjoy.

My name is Jayson Tuntland. I am a photographic artist, U.S. Army veteran, and native resident of La Moille, IL. My visual artwork is comprised of both my own photography and antique photograph restoration. Much of my personal photographic work seeks to capture and share the beauty of the natural world. My photographic restorations generally fall into one of two categories. The first being historical preservation. The second being pieces I have sought out and chosen to bring back to life because they speak to me in ways that are hard to articulate, but readily understood by the hearts they are meant to touch. Thank you for taking the time to view my work. Should you have any questions or need assistance of any kind, please feel free...
